Dates for 2026–27
Organisers have confirmed that DSF returns from 4 December 2026 to 17 January 2027. That is 45 days, and it covers New Year's Eve. The full programme of headline concerts, prizes and shows is announced in the weeks before it opens.
What's on
- Sales of 25–75% in malls across the city, with flash sales on set days.
- Nightly drone shows and regular fireworks, often at the beach and waterfront venues.
- Raffles for cars, gold and cash prizes when you spend at participating stores.
- Markets, pop-ups and family shows in the malls and around the city.
Where to stay during DSF
Downtown Dubai puts Dubai Mall, the Fountain and Souk Al Bahar on your doorstep. You can walk home with the shopping, so it's the most practical base for serious shoppers.
Dubai Marina and JBR suit people who want the beach by day and shows by night. Dubai Marina Mall, The Beach and Bluewaters are all here, and Mall of the Emirates is two metro stops away.
Business Bay is cheaper than Downtown, a short taxi ride from Dubai Mall, and it often has bigger apartments for the money.

When to go
The first two weeks of December are cooler, quieter and cheaper than Christmas and New Year. The last week of DSF in mid-January is a good time too, after the New Year rush.
